Our gilt is really putting the Large in Large Black. We are anticipating doubling our pig count in the next few days as we wait for Babe to drop. She is looking good, eating well and enjoying the warmth and seclusion of the big pig stye.
Here she is last night after I gave her a belly rub. Did a quick tit count and she is equipped to handle a dozen piglets. Any guesses on how many she will have and when they will arrive?
They arrived the next day for our records. And we weaned and nutted them on 28 July 2012.
