Christmas is not far away and we are preparing for a family holiday. It’s not easy to get away from a farm full of animals but with proper planning anything can be done.
First thing we need to do is prepare the farm so it can run smoothly without us for a month. More on what the involves later ie that goes into the too hard basket for now.
Second thing we need to do is find the right sort of people to stay on the farm. That is easy. In the past we have been lucky enough to have our friends Sarah and Dan Swan handle the ranch over the Christmas holidays. The good news is they have moved to the area so can provide back up to folks who holiday let our place. Even better news is I know we can count on them for some pictures and key memories of what it’s like to have a farm stay holiday on our Farm. More on point two we need to appoint someone professional, friendly and well connected in Real Estate and Holiday Letting in Byron Bay. This does not need to go into the hard basket. Unique Estates, easy pick. And I can put a tick box next to that one. We had Sarah here yesterday and we have a list of things to get back to her with and to do.
