This morning our friend and Veterinarian from Mullum Vet Richard Gregory came by early to take the horns off a Dexter cross Heifer we have on the farm for servicing. As usual it was blood and gore; however, Richard does a great job at making the animal comfortable with plenty of anesthetic and a gentle touch.
In a weeks time it will all be a memory and the young heifer will be much safer to handle through out her long life.
