A week ago today we were in full swing for our pop up pork sale. A big thanks to all the folks who came out and took home some of our home grown produce. Once again we sold out of pretty much everything we had on offer. We were honoured by the local food heroes who showed up and took back some our offerings.
Now all we have hanging is the smallest of our “spit pigs” we took. I’m about to sharpen our knives and get to work breaking down our little hog. Our daughter’s are keen for some pork ribs tonight for supper and I’m beefing up or should I say porking up my butchering knowledge.
