A large-framed breed known for their foraging abilities and maternal qualities. Solid black with lop-ears that fall across their face to protect from damage during rooting or foraging. We’ve bred Heritage Breed pigs for over a decade now and love to share!
Sustainable farming at its best
Our farming roots go back many generations on both sides of our families here in Australia and in Canada. Today, with the help of our daughters, Aubrey, Morley, and Bella, we manage 40 acres in the Byron Bay Hinterland using regenerative practices with a focus on unique farm stays and pasture-raised, rare heritage breeds. Our family strives to bring joy and sustainability to regenerative farming.

Kelpies
Our first Kelpie from a dairy farm, Red, had four litters and we kept a pup from most. Marley has now taken over as mother and with the help of father, Max, their last litter arrived in February 2022. Our pups make excellent working and companion dogs. They need plenty of stimulation and active handlers who are patient and equally as hard-working.
Chickens
We have always raised and bred a variety of Heritage Breed chickens at our farm. The current free-range flock is a mix of Australorp, Plymouth Rock and Light Sussex breeds. Alongside the birds, we also sell fertile eggs, point of lay, and a rooster or two.
Horses
Although not for sale, they sure are nice to look at! Bobbin has a beautiful chestnut coat with a white striped nose, Jessie is slender and wears a full bug jacket, Bucky is a very cheeky buck-skin pony, and old Indy in her cream and brown keeps to herself – she’s pushing 30 years old.
Cattle
A calm and manageable Heritage Breed known for their ease of calving and strong mothering abilities with an abundance of milk and being naturally protective of their young
