Our original pure bred Large Black has had another litter.
A big thanks to Mike and TL for helping her out. They were born on December 23rd and sadly a few did not make it but we have five that are going well. Excited to get back to the farm to sex them and to pick out a couple to keep pure bred bloodlines going. We love the high bred vigour we have achieved through bringing in Berkshire blood lines overall but really feel it’s important to maintain the purebred Large Black as they are becoming very rare.
