Our carpenter (come farm hand) Brad has been busy working on further containment and more coops for our heritage breed chickens. We have about twenty hens and roosters who are hanging out around the pig pens, which has the benefits of keeping ticks, bugs and excess feed cleaned up, however; until yesterday, we had never seen an egg from the Wild Bunch.
Look what we found under the containers during our chicken containing process.

In total we recovered two dozen eggs from under the containers. Like the bunch they came from they look a bit wild but we are having a go with them in the incubator. In 21 days there could be a bunch more wild ones.
