For more than twenty years, Cromwell Farms has been a place where family, farming and classic Australian countryside come together. From raising Dexter cattle and caring for our heritage farm, to welcoming guests to experience life here… sharing these special places has always been at the heart of what we do and who we are.
Today, we’re excited to expand the ways you can experience the wonderful spaces and places of Cromwell Farms (both in Goonengerry and Glenugie).
In addition to our accommodation (which is currently undergoing improvements ahead of reopening in 2027), we’re now welcoming expressions of interest for venue hire, workshops, photography, filming and creative projects across our family-owned properties in Northern NSW.
A Unique Setting in the Byron Bay Hinterland & Clarence Valley
Nestled amongst lush rainforest, rolling hills and heritage farm buildings, Cromwell Farms in both Goonengerry and Glenugie offers an authentic rural setting unlike any ‘run of the mill’, purpose-built event venues.
Whether you’re hosting a creative workshop, launching a new product, organising a brand photoshoot or searching for the perfect filming location, our properties provide a relaxed and inspiring backdrop just a short drive from Byron Bay (25 minutes for our Goonengerry property and 1.5hrs to Glenugie).
Rather than offering standard event packages, we prefer to work with each enquiry individually.
Every project is different, and we’re always interested in hearing new ideas and exploring how our spaces can best support your vision.
Way More Than Just a Venue
Cromwell Farms isn’t simply a venue you hire for the day. Both properties are working family farms with a rich history and a genuine connection to the land.
The properties are home to Dexter cattle, horses, orchards, gardens and beautifully restored heritage buildings, creating an atmosphere that simply can’t be replicated and is no doubt, unforgettable.
It’s this authenticity that makes our spaces so well suited to intimate gatherings, creative projects and memorable experiences.

Accommodation Returning in 2027
While our much-loved short term accommodation is temporarily unavailable as we continue improvements across the properties, it remains an important part of the Cromwell Farms story and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests back from 2027. Register your interest here.
