One of the beautiful things about staying with us is that we provide a lot of the essentials to make your holiday a very comfortable one!
But because packing can be the boring part of your trip away, we’ve compiled a holiday pack list for you to check off before you jet off to make it as simple and quick as possible.
You:
Casual outfits: Lightweight t-shirts, singlets, shorts, skirts, dresses
Swimwear: Two is ideal, so you can hop into a dry pair if the others are wet! All of our getaways do provide washing machines and dryers, but we’d recommend reading the care instructions on your cozzies before putting them in the dryer
Beach cover-up: Something to throw on between the pool/beach/river and the shops
Activewear: For walks around the property or farm, yoga sessions, national park walks, or sunrise runs. A good pair of sneakers or walking shoes is recommended!
Light jacket or jumper: While we generally have warm weather in Northern NSW, the evenings can be cool so an extra layer doesn’t hurt. Each of our getaways has either a fireplace or ample heating provided
‘Going out’ clothes: An outfit for dining out, if that’s your thing!
Footwear: Thongs, comfortable walking shoes, and casual shoes for any outings
Slip, slip, slap, hydrate: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle
Electronics: Phone, laptops, headphones, charger/s + portable chargers can be handy for long days out
Camera: Your phone might do the trick but an analouge option is fun too!
Books or e-readers: Perfect for relaxing on the beach or in the bath
Toiletries: Don’t forget any personal medicines or prescriptions… and your toothpaste! Keep in mind that we do provide beautiful iKou bathroom products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) as well as organic Aurapel insect repellent
Your Pets:
Leash, harness, and collar with ID tags
Waste bags for dogs/litter boxes for cats
Optional Extras:
Beach towel: While we do provide bath towels for your stay (and usually a few extra), if you’re planning a beach day, it’s best to bring your own towel
Tote bag/reusable bag: For carrying essentials to the beach or river, or for local shopping goodies
Water gear: Snorkels, wetsuits, surfboards, SUPs etc
Books or e-readers: We always have some books on hand at the properties but you may be mid-way through something gripping!
Cash/small change: For roadside farm and market stalls selling incredible flowers, local jams, honey, eggs. Some do have card facilities but most don’t!
Need more?
Don’t forget to check out the amenities list of your Airbnb of choice for more information on what we provide for your stay. Most properties have BBQ facilities (and even a smoker at the Farm House), so why not make the most of it!
We take a lot of pride in each of the kitchens at all of our accommodations – so you can leave your good olive oil at home – we’ve got you covered! Check out what’s supplied in our kitchens.
Eat from our farm
We can also provide you with a basket of farm-fresh, seasonal produce for you to enjoy during your stay. Fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, meat… just get in touch and we will be happy to put it together for you!
